Damavan Imaging has been selected by the EU for his project Temporal IMG. The granted fund will enable Damavan to better prepare his entering to the nuclear medicine and industry markets. Horizon 2020 funds high-potential innovation developed by SMEs through the SME instrument. Only 6 companies have obtained this prestigious label previously in the Grand Est region. Amec Foster Wheeler/ Wood has selected Damavan Imaging to develop and provide a Compton Camera and technical work in the Sellafield nuclear decommissioning project. The camera will allow to quickly make a quantitative assessment of radiologic environment in order to better plan human intervention and waste disposal. The global project is led by Amec Foster Wheeler and funded by the NDA.
